Dear Friends,

Allow me to introduce myself.    My name is Joanne Ng,  I founded “United Knowledge”. 

All my 15 years of work experience had always been related to Corporate Training :  as a Technical Instructor in JSTI; as a Training Officer in PSA; as a Training and Marketing Engineer in Telemecanique(France); as a Regional Training Manager in Siemens and as an  Education Services Manager in CSA Automated.   Sniffing out true Learning Needs accurately has always been my work habit.  

Over the years,  I can’t help but to notice one important fact : that working professionals really do need upgrade training on a regular basis.   Unfortunately, the right course is hard to come by, and sad to say,  most bosses tend to overlook the importance of regular staff training.    Often,  colleagues and clients of all levels would come to me and ask for courses that could help them do their job better.    Without doubt, every Good Worker craves to improve himself.   I salute people who really practice lifelong-learning.  I also truly enjoy making things happen for anyone who wants to learn.

Knowledge keeps changing.   This is even more true in today’s work environment, especially so  in high attrition business and service sectors.   This is true even for the teaching professionals.     I  set up this company to meet these ever-changing needs.   Eventually, we want to be able to provide innovative courses that cater to specific needs of all professional sectors in today’s workforce.

Being so used to the fast-paced work style of the IT world,  I have grown to be quite spontaneous whenever I sense a shift in technology and business trends.  Shoot and aim later is something we do often, our clients appreciate this,  timely training gives them an edge over others.

Our course focus had always been for IT and Telco Industries.   Recently,  I tried applying the same skill set that I acquired as an IT Training Manager to generate quality courses for Educators and Social Workers.   We are so glad to be able to get a very good response to our first Conference “Changing Behavior of Troubled Kids and Youth”.  

Many clients have come forth and said to me “This is the type of course we truly need.  Thanks for making it HAPPEN “.    It feels good also,  to be able to SERVE Well.
